is a Training Centre Facilitator at the Centre for Sexuality. Liz is an educator with 14 years teaching secondary school and she earned a PhD from the University of Calgary on the transformative learning of parents of transgender and non-binary children. She is passionate about providing training and support for those learning more about gender or sexual diversity. Liz is also involved in curriculum development at the Centre for Sexuality and is an instructor for the University of Calgary’s Werklund School of Education.  

 The Centre for Sexuality, formerly the Calgary Sexual Health Centre, is celebrating 50 years of providing education, support, and services around sexual health and sexuality in Alberta. We provide non-judgmental and evidence-based services across Alberta, including educational school programs, counselling services, and training for professionals.
