This interactive workshop assists professionals working in schools to have greater awareness and understanding of gender and sexual diversity. We will also discuss the impacts of homophobia, biphobia, transphobia on the school environment. Gain tools and strategies to create safe and supportive environments for your LGBTQ2S+ students and staff.

The Centre for Sexuality, formerly the Calgary Sexual Health Centre, is celebrating 50 years of providing education, support, and services around sexual health and sexuality in Alberta. We provide non-judgmental and evidence-based services across Alberta, including educational school programs, counselling services, and training for professionals. The Training Centre offers a full range of workshops tailored for professionals working in all sectors, including diversity and inclusion in the workplace, building comfort and skill in addressing topics around sexual health, or navigating conversations with your kids. Our interactive, engaging and researched-based workshops can be customized based on your organization’s needs.
