Elizabeth McNeilly
is a Training Centre Facilitator at the Centre for Sexuality. Liz is an educator with 14 years teaching secondary school and she earned a PhD from the University of Calgary on the transformative learning of parents of transgender and non-binary children. She is passionate about providing training and support for those learning more about gender or sexual diversity. Liz is also involved in curriculum development at the Centre for Sexuality and is an instructor for the University of Calgary’s Werklund School of Education.
The Centre for Sexuality, formerly the Calgary Sexual Health Centre, is celebrating 50 years of providing education, support, and services around sexual health and sexuality in Alberta. We provide non-judgmental and evidence-based services across Alberta, including educational school programs, counselling services, and training for professionals. The Training Centre offers a full range of workshops tailored for professionals working in all sectors, including diversity and inclusion in the workplace, building comfort and skill in addressing topics around sexual health, or navigating conversations with your kids. Our interactive, engaging and researched-based workshops can be customized based on your organization’s needs.
