TARGET AUDIENCE: ALL EDUCATORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND

Join us for our Calgary Regional Consortium Inclusion Movie Club webinar series. As a part of your registration, you will receive access to the NFB CAMPUS online streaming service for the year. Each month, join us for a conversation to follow up with 5 films over the months of January to May, 2021. Ross from the NFB will choose a film each month to allow teachers an opportunity to explore their practice as it relates to creating welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning environments for all of the students and staff they engage with. We will gather in our webinar each month to share the film’s connection to Alberta programs of study, and the application as a tool for learning with students.

The 5 perspectives explored through the series will include:

How to participate:

  1. Watch the film in advance

Each film can be found on the NFB in CAMPUS, the online streaming service for educators from the National Film Board of Canada. All participants will receive a FREE Campus account for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.

When you register, you will receive account registration details for CAMPUS and a CAMPUS user guide.

  1. Read the Conversation Guide

Upon registration, you will also receive the Conversation Guide for the film. Take time to read through the guide in advance of the webinar where you may find teacher guides, lesson plans, or playlists that match the monthly theme.
