Learning Opportunities

Using Gord Downey’s First Nations initiative, Catherine will present this unit including how to build, deliver and assess the unit.

This session will provide support for all levels of school authorities that results in an increased awareness and understanding of First Nations, Métis and Inuit histories, perspectives, and ways of knowing for the purpose of implementing treaty and residential schools education and Truth and Reconciliation Commission calls to action for education, and commitments related to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
