Do you want to learn more about the Literacy Continuum and how to use it effectively in your daily literacy practice? This session will dive into building your understanding of the reading and writing process and how it changes over time. “The Literacy Continuum provides a way to look for specific evidence of learning from prekindergarten through grade eight, and across eight instructional contexts.”. By using the Literacy Continuum in a strategic, thoughtful way, we will guide your thinking as to how responsive teaching can meet students where they are and brings them forward with intention and understanding. Join us for a full day exploration of this resource through CRC (Calgary) or CARC (Red Deer). We are proud to support continuous learning and reflection therefore following implementation, join us for a follow up webinar that will bring all our great minds back together to focus on successes and learn from our challenges.
