All CTF Teachers are Encouraged to Attend

The CTF Program of Study offers a wonderful opportunity for personalised assessments and differentiation to move leaning forward for students.  Not all students learn at the same pace, or in the same way, and the CTF program is designed to support each student over time to achieve personal growth. Join this session to learn more about using the 3 stages of assessment - acquire, apply, and adapt – to understand student achievement in CTF and program for students in an individualized way.

In this session you will:

  • Have conversations with colleagues to share and understand different ways CTF Challenges are being assessed
  • Explore the 3 CTF assessment stages (acquire, apply, adapt) and their implications for programming
  • Take a deep dive into Alberta Education’s CTF Classroom Assessment Tool to understand how it supports personalised assessment and differentiation
  • Apply what you’ve learned to a CTF Challenge that you have designed

This learning opportunity is being offered through curriculum implementation funding from Alberta Education.
