Once they have learned the art of felt making, teachers can show their students how to design and create their own felted fabric to sew into clothing and accessories, making their projects truly one of a kind.

This double session offers participants the opportunity to work on the digital basics. Bring your camera (and the manual that came with i) along with your questions to improve picture design, exposure, and editing techniques. In this double session participants will practice making a dovetail drawer corner in solid wood using only hand tools. Any teachers with prospective provincial cabinet making skills competitors should take it in as hand cut dovetails are always included in regional, provincial, national and international skills projects.

This hands-on session focuses on what we need most, healing. Esthetics is not only a CTS course in Cosmetology, but an area of study where skills learned resonate beyond the classroom. Participants will learn basic techniques in relaxation, stress management and connection. In this session Tam will review equipment he uses with his Grade 9s and 11s to make parquetry patterns for the tops of boxes and tabletops. He will also provide special cutting guide and trick for storing veneers. Glue up and clamping techniques will also be demonstrated.
Stepper Homes raised $50,000 by building and selling a specially built home in Rocky Ridge and donated the proceeds to Bowness High School in 2002. This helped establish a trades program. The Junior Achievement Titans Business Simulation is a management and economic game that connects with 3 occupational areas in the CTS BIT curriculum (MAM, ENT and FIN).
